Author Robert A. Hall is a Marine Vietnam veteran, a former five-term member of the Massachusetts State Senate and, since 1982 a successful non-profit executive. He has been widely published on political and management topics, plus a sprinkling of short fiction and poetry. This is his seventh book. In 2006, he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.

The 2012 Rouine Run for Pulmonary Fibrosis is scheduled for Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 at 9:00 AM and is being held once again at the Lowell Lodge of Elks at 40 Old Ferry Road in Lowell, Massachusetts. Come join us on a flat 3.1 mile walk or run along the beautiful Merrimack River. Mark your calendar, save the date, make a plan!

This event is our 5th annual event and continues to support the research efforts of the PFF and especially the PF research taking place at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Jack Lim is hosting "A Night with Family and Friends at the Old Ballpark", Dutchess Stadium, to support and raise awareness for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a fatal lung disease that takes the lives of approximately 40,000 Americans each year- the same number as breast cancer.

This year's Bike Run/Picnic will be held on

Members of Team PFF join over 3,000 athletes as they race through the Hudson River, Manhattan's West Side, and Central Park. With a 1500m swim, 40k bike ride, and 10k run, Team PFF participants are going the distance to raise awareness!

Richard G. Hall, passed away on July 11, 2010, after an intense and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. The Hall family is committed to helping spread awareness and helping fund the research to find a cure for this terrible and relentlessly progressive disease. It is our hope that future generations do not have to endure the loss of a loved one to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
