Matt is a Vice President and Partner at American Chartered Bank, a $2.5 billion Chicago area financial institution, where he works primarily with privately held commercial entities to provide financing and cash management services. Prior to his position at American Chartered Bank, Matt was a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch for eight years where he worked in the Merrill Lynch Private Client Banking Group working with business owners and investors as well as providing internal consulting for Merrill Lynch’s New York banking headquarters. While at Merrill Lynch, Matt completed his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with a focus in finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Matt became actively involved in the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation after losing his father and grandmother to the disease within months of each other in 2008.
