PFF Summit: The world's largest conference on PF
Join us November 13-15, 2025 in Chicago for PFF Summit! Registration and more details will be announced soon.
PFF Summit is the world’s largest conference focused on pulmonary fibrosis (PF) and interstitial lung disease (ILD) research and education. Held every other year, it unites the community to come together as one to learn about this disease from globally recognized experts.
We warmly welcome patients, caregivers, lung transplant recipients, those who have lost loved ones to ILD, physicians, researchers, nurses, industry representatives, and anyone who has been impacted by PF. Attendees receive the latest and most trusted, accurate information about how to live well, treatment options, understanding the causes of ILD, and so much more. For healthcare providers, CME/MOC credit is provided.
The next PFF Summit will be held in Chicago. More details will be available in early 2025. We hope to see you there!

Special note for industry attendees: The PFF strongly advises against the hosting of investigator meetings immediately before, during, or following the PFF Summit. Many investigators are involved with the PFF Summit as faculty and/or organizers and have cited that participation in these types of meetings during conference week leads to conference fatigue (or pulls them away from their Summit obligations). PFF recommends finding an alternative time to bring together investigators.
Additional offerings
In addition to attending Summit sessions, attendees are encouraged to visit the special exhibits and receptions highlighting the latest in PF research and care. Each PFF Summit conference includes the following offerings below.
Welcome Reception and Poster Presentation
During the Welcome Reception and Poster Presentation, you can browse scientific posters created by researchers. The posters provide a glimpse of what is currently underway for a variety of research projects and you can ask questions and learn more about the research. At the end of the evening, we award ribbons to five researchers with the most dynamic research. The top three ribbon recipients will present their winning posters during a conference session.
You may view a listing of all PFF Summit posters presented at the 2023 conference. Contact information is provided if you wish to follow up with the author.
Networking Dinner
The Networking Dinner features a delicious buffet and cocktails or mocktails. During the evening, you will have the chance to visit with old friends and meet new ones.
